Most advice stops at microphone cleanup. That helps your coworkers, but it does nothing about their barking dog, keyboard, or traffic in your headphones. On a Mac, solving the whole call means treating the outgoing and incoming audio paths separately.

Your physical microphone captures your voice plus the room. Route it through Zetsu Mic so typing, fans, dishes, and nearby activity are reduced before the meeting app receives the signal.

The noisy mix arrives from Zoom, Meet, or Teams. Send the app’s output to Zetsu Speaker; Zetsu cleans it, then passes it to your real headphones or speakers.

Set up two-way noise cancellation on Mac.
Configuration happens once per meeting app. After that, both audio paths remain connected whether noise removal is on or off.
Install Zetsu and its audio driver
Download the app, open it from the menu bar, and install the driver. macOS asks for an administrator password during driver installation.
Select Zetsu Mic as the meeting microphone
Open Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or another calling app. In its audio settings, choose Zetsu Mic for input. Select your physical microphone from Zetsu’s menu.
Select Zetsu Speaker as the meeting output
In the same meeting settings, choose Zetsu Speaker for output. Then tell Zetsu which real headphones or speakers should play the cleaned result.
Test each direction before the call
Use the meeting app’s mic and speaker test. Toggle removal from the menu bar to compare. Audio keeps flowing through the virtual devices when processing is disabled.

Both takes were recorded in the same real home environment. The first preserves the room; the second passes the microphone through Zetsu’s Performance engine.
