Changelog
Zetsu updates itself: the app checks for new versions automatically, and you can check manually with Check for Updates in the right-click menu. New here? Download the latest version.
1.0.13
- New: Auto-Recovery now repairs the listening path at any time — not only after sleep. When meeting audio stops flowing through Zetsu Speaker and the other side's noise comes back raw (for example after they unmute), Zetsu reconnects it automatically within about 10 seconds, no clicks needed.
- Changed: The right-click menu item is now simply "Auto-Recovery" (was "Auto-Recovery After Sleep"), since it protects more than just sleep.
1.0.12
- New: After waking from sleep, Zetsu now detects when meeting audio stops reaching Zetsu Speaker (the other side's noise suddenly comes back) and reconnects it — automatically when your mic is not in use, or with a one-click Fix Now button in the menu while you are live on a call. Auto-fix can be turned off from the right-click menu (Auto-Fix Receive Audio After Sleep).
- New: The "Remove others' noise" section now shows whether an app is actively playing to Zetsu Speaker, with recovery guidance when audio does not reconnect after sleep.
1.0.11
- Maintenance release — no changes to the app itself.
- Website: The changelog page (this page) now updates automatically with each release.
1.0.10
- Changed: Refreshing the device lists moved from Diagnostics to a refresh button right next to the Input and Output pickers — press either one to re-scan both lists.
- Website: Added this changelog page.
1.0.9
- Maintenance release — packaging and website updates. No changes to the app itself.
1.0.8
- Maintenance release — website and distribution updates. No changes to the app itself.
1.0.7
- Fixed: The right-click menu no longer closes by itself when you move over the Virtual Devices (Driver) items.
1.0.6
- New: If the audio driver isn't installed yet, the menu now shows a single clear “Install Driver” step instead of the full controls.
- Fixed: Right-clicking the menu bar icon now works reliably on the latest macOS versions.
- Fixed: A false “installed driver is outdated” warning could appear right after installing the driver.
1.0.5
- New: 7-day free trial — try full noise cancellation before buying.
- Changed: Without a license, audio now passes through unchanged instead of stopping, so your meetings never go silent.
- Changed: New pricing — $5/month, $50/year, or $100 once (lifetime).
1.0.4
- Changed: The CPU readout in Diagnostics now explains that it measures Zetsu's own usage on a whole-machine scale (Activity Monitor uses a per-core scale, so its number looks larger for the same load).
- Website: zetsu.app is now available in 10 languages.
1.0.3
- New: A single Mode picker — Echo (lighter on battery) or Performance (strongest suppression) — replaces the per-direction engine choices.
- Changed: CPU usage moved into the Diagnostics section, and Diagnostics is easier to open and read.
- Changed: The installer (DMG) window got a proper background with a drag-to-Applications layout.
1.0.2
- New: Simpler menu bar controls — left-click for everyday toggles and devices, right-click for management (license, driver, updates).
- New: Launch at Login.
- New: CPU usage display.
1.0.1
- Changed: The app's interface is now fully in English.
- Changed: Downloads switched from ZIP to DMG.
1.0.0
- First public release: Two-way, on-device noise cancellation for macOS — clean what you send and what you hear, right from the menu bar.
- Licensing: One key activates up to 3 Macs, with a 14-day offline grace period.
